A clean out before we go

Well yesterday Ems started packing for the holidays back to the Phils, so I left her to it sort of thing but just kept popping back to see it she wanted any help.

Anyway, soon the case was full of shoes, you are not going to wear them there Ems, no - they are for her nieces.

Then I looked in the wardrobe and there were still more shoes. I reckon there were more then 15 pairs and to tell the truth - and this is coming from a man's view - 4 of them you could use for daily wear, the rest you just look good in but may struggle to walk more then 10 steps.

"Dont buy anymore shoes Ems, " Well, if looks could kill ...!

That was the last of my sort of helping pack her case

We were visiting Shey's family yesterday, and after 2 or 3 hours, I realised her brother was wearing an identical shirt to the one I have at home. Nope, you've guessed it, it was mine that was sent over in a box 6 months ago

    Well, I hadn't missed it I suppose

We had similar experiences when we visited earlier this year. Our kids said, "they must have a Primark here in Legazpi!" Turned out their nieces and nephews were wearing their old clothes ......

The most useful 'extra' I like to have with me is a small electric kettle, so I can have a brew whenever and wherever I want...and without paying hotel prices.

    I found a few P99 shops here.
Shoes, shirts, jeans, shorts, plus the usual kitchen gadgets, electrical goods and tools etc.
Great resource for those pasalubong that got forgotten
