    Lucy (film)

Watched this last night - not bad - lots of over the top effects and went a bit odd near the end but a 7/10 from me

Not a classic but worth a watch. I agree with you about 7/10

It's in my folder of films on my laptop, along with the other 100 or so that I will watch one day!

... OTT would seem to describe the plot summary of this movie perfectly - according to Wikipedia - so ... ... it isn't one I'm likely to fancy!

No it's typical modern film. All effects. Remember seeing 12 angry men a couple of years ago. Now that is a film. Set in one room amazing.

That's what I mean ... typical modern film. None of 'em make any sense.

... nah! Give me a proper storyline.

Wow, 12 Angry Men, remember seeing the original in the 50's great film!

I agree Arthur. I watched (yet again) "Its a wonderful Life" the other day which is possibly one of the best films ever made and which never fails to entertain me. The old films are ALWAYS better.

That film has also been my all-time favourite.

I watch it 4 or 5 times a year and always watch over it over the Christmas hols.

    Brilliant.

I've also a copy that has been 'touched' in colour but it's somehow not as pleasing to watch IMO

Must admit 'Lucy' just up my street, I love most Science Fiction films, 'Close Encounters' still one of my favourites and with my present sound system makes them much more enjoyable. The opening theme music to 'The Walking Dead' sounds awesome!
