Good luck, you seem to have everything covered. However, getting a result by Christmas may be asking too much, but here's hoping you manage to get your visa in time.

Thanks. I think most of the people here they just got their result from 10-15 days just like my friends in UK. After 10 days they got their visa.

It is a possibility you will get an answer by Christmas..... But to be honest I do not think so.

We put in our Spouse Visa on 10th October and have yet to hear....

From doing my research, the average time frame for answers on a SPOUSE visa seems to be 6 weeks....

But all the best wishes and hope it arrives in time.

... more like 3 months, to say ... or used to be for long enough.

We were told by VFS to expect as late as 3 months but got my visa in 20 calendar days! Good luck Hellersarah.

Wishing you all the best. WE have all been through this and know how you feel - but the joy at the end is ... WOW!! Worth all the effort and tears!

Hi guys thanks to all the wishes .

I submitted all my documents last November 13 and today I received an email saying,

Your decision will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 working days unless you have been advised it will be returned by courier or have paid an additional courier fee.

This is an automated message. Please do not respond to this email address as incoming mail is not answered.

Hoping and praying it will be my visa ☺
