Putin Cancer Rumors
Rumours had been going around for a couple of years he had cancer
There is an explanation for Vladimir Putin’s hurry to invade Ukraine — it is rumoured he has cancer.
News outlets from Belarus to Poland have reported for months that the Russian strongman has cancer of the spinal cord. But my sources say it’s pancreatic cancer, one of the most lethal forms of the disease.

Good riddance to him
to Nadia
A Russian psychiatric ward is an unlikely base for a career in Ukrainian politics. Yet a female army helicopter pilot is contesting Sunday's parliamentary election in Ukraine from a secure unit over the border in Russia.Miss Savchenko, 33, was captured in June while fighting pro-Russian separatists in the east. She was taken to Russia and imprisoned on what she says are fabricated charges of war crimes, before being transferred to a psychiatric unit. The case has made her a national hero in Ukraine, with President Petro Poroshenko joining the calls for her release.

The rumours about Putin are hard to believe !
Cancer arising in the spinal cord is rare ; more likely would be spread FROM one of the common primary sites for cancer in Russian men – lung, prostate or large bowel. ANY cancer in this area would cause symptoms like severe pain and paralysis.
Pancreatic cancer is uncommon and has a bad outlook because early symptoms are vague, but it does eventually cause back pain, weight loss and jaundice – most don’t survive over 6 months from diagnosis.
Cancers affect 2 out of 5 people and politicians are not immune .
The late President of the Philippines, Corazon Aquino, died 5 years ago within 18 months of diagnosis with large bowel cancer.
President Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with “ cancerous polyps “ of large bowel in 1985.
President Mitterrand of France and the Irish Taoiseach
Charles Haughey both had prostate cancer.
Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez died last year aged 58, following a long battle with " an unspecified cancer " in the pelvic region.
Rumours are – of course – not always accurate . Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was rumoured to have thyroid cancer. She did have her thyroid removed two years ago, but it was not cancerous.
It can even be hard to understand what politicians themselves say about their illnesses.
Philippines Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago ( a non-smoker ) announced last July that she had " Stage 4 lung cancer ", but " it wasn’t metastatic " ( hadn’t spread ). By definition " 4 " means spread to both lungs or another part of the body ( or at the very least has caused fluid collection around the lung ). As 2 out of 3 people with lung cancer don’t survive a year from diagnosis, let’s hope " molecular targeting " tablets and " behavioural mutancy " ( her words ) DO allow cure, or long term survival - the original diagnosis might also be reviewed.
