    How Long

    How long does a fiancee visa normally last for, I thought it was 6 months, but someone said its only 90 days, these people were due to marry 2 weeks ago on the Thursday, but his mother died 2 days before.

    Fiance visa is valid for 6 months
    It's possible to secure an extension when there is good reason that prevented marriage to take place.

    Yes ... the normal duration is 6 months. However, it would seem to me that the circumstances mentioned are reason enough to postpone a wedding and [possibly] justify an extension to the visa's timespan - if it's deemed necessary - in order to deal with any issues arising from the groom's late mother's estate.
