French President Nicolas Sarkozy has said there are too many foreigners in France and the system for integrating them is "working worse and worse".

'On Tuesday, Prime Minister Francois Fillon caused dismay among Muslim and Jewish groups by suggesting the religious slaughter of animals was out of date'.

Well he's right. IT IS !

One of the reasons I no longer give to the RSPCA.

Like ourselves, the French have left this about 50 years too late, but at least they can keep passing them on to us through Calais.

I read something last week about English families who have gone to live in France and bought property but things turned bad for them and they were living on scraps plus the generosity of friends.

The French government refused any help to them as they had not contributed into the system. They obviously interpret the EU rules differently from us, and good for them.

They do eat the animal afterwards. Regardless of why an animal is killed by humans, it is still killed by humans.
