Registering for Life in the UK Test (Please help me)

    Hello everyone,
Just wanna ask about the registration of taking The Life in the UK Test.
Can I use my married name in the registration even if my BRP card and passport is still in my maiden name? (As long as I Can support it by giving my marriage certificate.!?) I'm just worried if they won't let me take the exam.

I can use my maiden name but in my proof of address it's all in my married name like (bank statements, electricity bill, etc.) With our new home address in it.

**** I just want to use my married name and a proof of address in our new home address with my married name in it.. is it possible? (But my brp and passport is still in my maiden name)

Thank you very much for your help, just confused with these

You have to use what's in your passport and BRP. If your proof of address is in your married name, bring your wedding cert in case they check it. I had the same situation when I took mine but had no problem.

There are some specific rules when it comes to the ID Documents you'll need for booking and taking the Life in the UK Test

    Take a look here

You have to remember to use the ID with your complete name (with middle name if you have one) in registering for the Life in the UK Test. Also, the name you registered must be exactly the same as your proof of address. Then bring the ID which you used to register.

I used my passport to register and that's what I brought with me to the test.

Good luck Grace... Remember to use exactly the same information from your proof of identity. When I took my test, they refused to let one woman take the exam because, when she registered, she had put the City/Town where she was born --- but her passport stated the Province.
UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...
