    Need help ♥

Hello guys, I really need your help. I took IELTS last Sept. 20 and I got my result today. I was happy because I got good band scores, so my next step is to apply for my spouse visa. Does anyone knows what are the docs I need to submit? Though I have here some of the list, I really wanted to know what else I will produce. Where I could find the form for spouse visa and how much is the cost.

    Thank you guys

As a first step in reviewing the forms and documentation take a look here at the Application for UK visa for family settlement: form VAF4A then ask any specific questions.

If you haven't already searched here in the forum then look here first for background information

    Cost is £885

One more thing Sir Terpe. I have a 2 yr old baby and she's a British Passport holder as well as Philippine Passport. Do I have to include to submit her 2 passports as well as her British Certificate and Philippine Birth Certificate just to make sure, or just British Passport and British Birth Certificate?? Thanks.

British citizens do not need a visa.

Okay Sir Terpe, thanks. Because the solicitor says I will also submit my child's passport when I submit my application too. Just a bit confused.

Where does the application form ask for submission of your child's British passport?

It was just said by a solicitor, said my husband. If I submit my application next month together with all my documents she was stated that in my application, I will also provide a proof of my baby's passport. That's what makes me confused, because I'm the only one who will apply since my baby had a British Passport. So, Sir Terpe, I will not include my baby's passport in my documents to be submitted next month.

I just told my hubby that no need to pay for solicitor. It costs a lot - it's almost £800 - so I told my hubby I'm just the one to find what are the documents. He will need to comply for my spouse visa application and so thankful here, because it's really helpful for me since I applied for my baby's British Passport...

If the application requirement states submission of the child's passport is needed then you must do it.
If the application form does not state anything about submission of the childs passport why do it.

Most folks here managed without a solicitor.
If the application is straightforward it's not necessary. If there are any complications then it's always a good idea.

All a solicitor can do is to ask you to provide the mandatory documentation.

Well, I think there are no complications about my hubby's documents because his payslip for 6 months was £10,000 and I got a good score in IELTS and I have my TB rest result as well. I was just reading here some helpful tips in applying spouse visa so I'm really thankful for this site...

    It is quite simple.

If your child has a British passport then he/she is a British citizen who will be entering his/her own country when going to UK.

I wouldn't have thought it even needed to be mentioned on any documents, other than when buying plane tickets.

Hello guys I have one concern about my online application. First to be able to book for an appointment I will fill out the form online

    https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk.

Me and my hubby are confused, because I cannot find the Spouse Visa only settlement. I just want to ask if it's the same or I got wrong application? We did try find but we didn't see it.

    Hope someone could help me.

    Thank you

Sir Terpe, another concern is that my husband's 6 months payslips were £10,000 in all, but in his P 60 from April 2013-April2014 was £18,441.

Here's what he said in the letter, Sir Terpe.

Although my basic salary is below the £18,600 financial threshold, with compulsory overtime, as my last 6 months pay statements prove (from April 2014- Sept 2014), I have earned £10,045.71 for the first 6 month period of the current financial year.

And as my October 2014 pay statement confirms, I will make in excess of £20,000 this financial year (April 2014-April 2015). Showing that, I will comfortably meet the £18,600 financial threshold for year 2014-2015.

This is a significant increase from year 2013-2014 as shown by my last P60 when I earned £18,441.17
