    Cooking gas

Hi y'all so we're moving to the Philippines in 2 weeks, just gathering as much utility info as I can, is there such a thing where you can have gas in your home, like here in UK ie E.ON, British Gas, npower etc. Or is it bottled up and connected? If bottled up how much and how long will it last if cooking say breakfast, and dinner for a small family?

We pay between 850.00 and a 1000 PHP for 11 KG of Gas here..

Lasts about 2 months for a family a bit bigger than yours.

    Hope that helps!

We pay 750 pesos so yes the prices vary quite a bit. I started laughing when you said British Gas lol, nobody has gas piped into their house as far as I know.

Depends on size and what you need it for..
A 6KVA petrol unit can cost up too about a grand UK pounds.
    Diesel unit about 120k PHP.

I was going to put a Pelton wheel in the river next to our mountain summer residence back in the 90s, but that went the same way as the home-built Hovercraft.
