Always best to shop around for car insurance, every year. I do. I may even stay with the one I used the year before but only if they will price match the cheapest deal

Steve, check out Dodge Avenger 2 litre vag engine six speed box you will pick a very low mileage one for that money. Go on Autotrader and read the reviews - not one bad word said about them. I have had mine for 3 years and not a problem. I have had 50.7 to gall on a mixed run and the sound system is fantastic

Yes, and Steve's stated budget might cover the deposit.

My thoughts are a car is to get you from A to B, thats all. Yes its nice to have something nice.
The trouble is, my own car I have had for such a long time now and its never let me down, so i will keep it till it does not go anymore. Remember boys and girls, its only got to last a few more years before I move anyway

Part of the reason I only ever buy cheapo second hand cars is because I only do around 200 miles a month in mine... Why have a nice new car or spend thousands for something to sit on my drive going down in value every day...
Plus I live within walking distance of a train station which takes me direct to London in under 45 minutes and Heathrow airport is on my doorstep too.
