Just phone someone like Virgin Media and ask for details of their cable/phone package.

A letter addressed to you will be on your doorstep in a few hours. lol

Your local library will normally have computers and printers etc. You can also go online there.

Funny thing is, I went to the library and I cannot use printer and computer unless I'm a member - and to be a member I need to show my passport and proof of billing address

So we will be giving notice on 21st of July, I have my passport and birth certificate,

Is it okay if it will be my boyfriend who will just submit his utility bills? Coz obviously I don't have any yet.

Well I can see the point of that.

Why don't you ask your partner or a relative with a library card to do it for you ?

Shops like Office World also have such facilities.

That is fine.. As far as I can remember, my husband only showed his proof of address without my name in it...it's understandable as you just arrived in the UK.

But if you really want to show a proof of address with your name in it, I'm sure you will get a letter from your surgery/GP registration in a week time.

During my time, I only started gathering my proof of address just right after the wedding...even the GP registration and things like that. I have no idea at all that fiancée visa is eligible for NHS registration, that's why I only did them all after I got married. So ignorant of me!

Our local Cartridge World shop allows punters to use his computer/internet access for £1 then £0.12 per colour page - cash of course! Not bad if you're stuck or too mean like me to buy infrequently used expensive colour cartridges
