    This is it!!

I got my passport with visa yesterday and with regards to the visa application receipt that I lost, they just asked me to provide an affidavit of loss. Luckily, my friend accompanied me there. Been able to produce an affidavit before the end of collection time and I don't have to return there anymore today..

    Here's my timeline:

    April 16, 2014 - lodged my application
June 20, 2014 - received call from uk embassy
June 27, 2014 - got the email that my visa will be despatched shortly
June 30, 2014 - got an email from vfs to collect my documents
July 01, 2014- collected my passport and documents

I just want to take this chance to thank each and everyone for their kind assistance and motivation they have given me. This wouldn't be possible without this forum. So, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. So much appreciated.

Every stress and waiting is worth it. We will be together soon after 1.5 year of being apart. Hopefully, last week of July we'll be back in each other's arms. Another long journey for me and my hubby.

    God bless everyone.

Yes it was. I was expecting it mid-July. Have you written to them to inquire the status of your application?
