Can I ask why this area? Weston-super-mud is full of old people, Clevedon is a bit scary but Cheddar is a lovely place, a bit off the beaten track but nice (but possibly expensive to rent/live)

Out of the places you mention, you'll probably find the cheapest accommodation in Weston-Super-Mare.

My partner doesn't want me to travel tomorrow. We lost money for my tickets to Manila and to London coz it's non refundable ...

Sorry to read, surely a week or even 2 in a cheap hotel like Travel Lodge is going to work out a lot cheaper then having to buy a new ticket

That's not possible now, as my flight to Davao is today. Missed it already and I can't get any way to get to Manila now as I have to travel 7 hrs by bus to get to the nearest airport.
