Been there and yes I did enjoy it, remember I am not a drinker and no nightclubbing either, but a great place to be. Panglao to me is a better place but keep that to yourself

Been twice and massively overrated IMO.
Much sooner go to Camotes Island where there's clean water, non-inflated prices and so quiet and relaxing.
Think Mati is my next stop (anyone from there on here?)

We went to Boracay and had a great time there. Four days we were there and we did everything there was to do. I cannot see us going back there as we have done it once, but I recommend it. Great food and great water sports. Not been to Bohol so we will be going there next.

We've been twice and really enjoyed our holiday break in Boracay.
We knew just what it would be like and what to expect so no unwanted surprises.
We found some great places to stay, great places to eat and had a ball the whole time we were there. With a good promo we'd go again

Alas, I've never been to Boracay! ... haven't been to Bohol either.

's like me, Nigel ... ... my wife had suggested taking me there but, with one thing and another - travelling to Manila to exchange my CNI prior to our wedding in Mindanao, then a second trip to the Capital thereafter, to lodge her Spousal Visa application at VFS and finally ... waiting impatiently on its outcome - we simply didn't get around to it and still haven't!

Been there twice and got married there. Each to his own I suppose, but we enjoyed it.

I liked Boracay but the accommodation there can be expensive
Even the small places were charging 3000 pesos a night
I spent 3 weeks there but would recommend around a week being long enough
