Does anyone know if this has reduced the number of arranged brides, cousins etc being brought in from the badlands of Pakistan ?

I doubt it, I would have thought as many Pakistanis are self employed, own businesses or work for other Pakistanis there could be ways of getting around the minimum financial requirement

Whatever the Appeal Court judgment will be it's certain that the losing side will then appeal to the Supreme Court.

I wouldn't want to bet that this case will get decided until well after the General Election 2015
