I noticed from a different interview, the mayor of Calais say that "Britain is holding Calais hostage" due to the generous (Over generous?) benefits system, resulting in migrants gathering there to try cross and live the easy life.

At the risk of sounding like a Daily Mail reader ( ), it sounds like going by the backgrounds of many of these migrants, we would be importing potentially people with views completely at odds with British values of fairness, equality and non-racism.

Is the answer really too simple for the completely stupid arrogant in power?

Correct but Labour likes them because they're a guaranteed vote/postal vote 5 years down the line
