    My wife passed her life in the uk test soooo happy

    After our 3rd attempt life in the uk test passed.
    Next thing we have to pass the cefr b1 so hope that's easy
    If I pass the cefr I will start to prepare for the ILR application this august. What will change after ILR will I be able to claim housing benefits

    Hey 3rd time lucky! ...congratulations and well done to your wife!

    I think once you have ILR you are NOT subject to immigration control so can claim anything....but i am sure others will confirm if this is the case.

    First of all congrats on passing the test.

    Secondly yes after securing ILR you are entitled to claim any benefits you are entitled to including housing benefit, council tax benefit, job seekers allowance ect ect...
