Check and send query - Naturalisation
Hello all,
We are coming up to the 3 year mark - and are planning the filling out of the naturalisation form, and getting our docs together.
One thing we aren't clear on - if we use the check and send facility through our local borough, will we be able to keep hold of both our passports (and the BRP for my wife) whilst the application is processed? Or will this have to be a 'no-travel' period? Does anyone have experience of what the timeframes are for decisions at the moment?
Many thanks in advance.
Tboy.

Yes ... if you use your nearest branch of this excellent service (highly recommended!) staff will - in exchange for a smallish fee [around £70] - check to ensure you have duly complied with each of the specified requirements, photocopy ALL the relevant documents while-U-wait, for onward transmission (by them) to the Home Office, then hand you back the originals - INCLUDING the two passports and your wife's British Residence Permit - immediately afterwards.
