    I agree with every word Joe!!
    Fathers here have lots of rights..Its just that many "Fathers" cant be bothered to know what they are unless there is something in it for them!!

    Fathers have rights because the law says so...and that law may trip people up who are applying for visas.

    Yes, some don't deserve any rights, I agree !

    Thats the problem , we all get tarred with the same brush, until you alone can prove you are a good father,
    Many many years ago when the CSA was formed i was i was a absent father according to there letters, but seen my kids everyday and they spent every weekend living with me, but because the then ex had them so she could get benifits i was classed as absent, a orrrible word given to someone who cared and wanted them living with him, hey ho , thats better now

    Yep, and I've been through all of this both from the Phils side of things...getting my stepchildren here, (as 'illegitimates' to two different fathers), and then on the receiving end, getting custody of my boy here.
