    UKBA website

I have just seen the UKBA website and it is quite confusing. I cannot find the fiancee visa section. Ugh!

, Jen ... it can be confusing.

However, you'll need to complete, online, the most recent
Form VAF 4A (effective from December 2013) - including

    your sponsor's ALL~IMPORTANT Financial Requirement - in Appendix 2.

    I hope this information helps.

    Hey dear,

I have been trying to compute my hubby's income if we fit in financial requirement.

Can you help me? Or can someone help me?

There are examples here in this link:

    https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...5/IDI6.doc.pdf

my fiance has been working in BT for 6 years now

Assuming that only your partner's salary is being used to meet the income requirement,
he needs to have been earning a GROSS annual salary (ie before deductions for tax and national insurance) of £18,600 minimum, for a period of at least 6 months prior to your application...assuming there are no children being included on your application, with payslips and bank statements to prove it.

That's how I read it anyway.

Okay cool! It looks we are fit. As he is being employed since 2009 and his "total for year-pay" accdg to his P60 is 22,768.50

Do you happen to know the amount of Income Support an equivalent British family of that size can receive?

That salary sounds fine to me, but I can't help with the income support question I'm afraid.

The answer will be somewhere on the net (UK gov.site) if you google your question.

Jen, regarding the financial requirement. Your fiancée only needs to show his salary meets the requirement of £18600 per year gross.
He needs to provide 6 months payslips and the corresponding 6 months bank statements to show his salary going into his bank A/C
He needs also to have a letter from his employer stating how long he's been employed there, his employment basis and confirming his salary.

There's no need to be concerned with income support levels.

BTW, that P60 will not be of any use as it only confirms his income between April 2012 and April 2013 so it's already almost a year out of date.

Oh no! Should we wait for the new issued P60 in April 2014?

Hello! He has a kid, but his daughter doesn't live with him. He just supports her 150GB per month. Is that still applicable for us? I don't have a kid, though

No Jen this has no bearing on the application for a spouse visa so please do not worry.

As long as your hubby can show a minimum of £18,600 income gross then no probs please go by what Terpe has already said then you will be fine...

It gets less user-friendly as time passes.
