You did your best Les handicapped by the inept manager and players but as usual Chelsea FC the Pride of Britain are our sole remaining representatives in Europe

I still want United to keep Moyesy as Manager though

If any ManU fans moan about getting knocked out at that stage of the competition, by the top team in Europe, they need a slap. No shame going out at the same stage as Barcelona, and they got further than most Euro teams.

I think you,ll find that they will be moaning about not playing in europe next year more than getting knocked out last night ,after all they were up against it conceding an away goal. I do believe moyes will get the boot soon .If he is still at the helm for the start of next season and don,t get off to a decent start it will be over very quickly .I do believe he is very lucky to be still the manager after winning nothing and finishing outside the top 4 with basically the same team fergie left him with ,which puts the focus on his management style .

I think the Glaziers will also look very carefully at how he's spent their transfer money and whether he could be trusted with spending any more (if they have it)

True, I'm not moaning and to be fair our European campaign has been fine-no complaints at all, the best team went through.
Dedworth you will only got one game further and us, I'm sure your jaunt will be over if you get Real Madrid or Bayern
Just do us a favour and win the league will you, I cant have Keith taking the micky

You're not moaning Les, you're Rooney lived up to his name - overpaid and over rated. Just as I said when Fergie goes the team will go to pot.

lol here is why I think they will miss the top 4 again ,they have said that half the team are getting shipped out for next season for one reason or another.now even if you spend 100 plus million on players ,it always take time for them to gel as a team and can quite easily take a whole season to do that ,and thats why i,m going to think about doing the unthinkable and go for it again lol

Good thinking tiger. They would do even better if the could entice Brendan Rogers from Liverpool to replace Moyes.

Of course I'm not betting on them not getting on top 4 next season-too much work to do.

I will be happy if we have a 2 year break and completely rebuild

You have to remember (and I know it's bragging) but I have been spoilt season after season to the point that sometimes winning the league was a given.

We certainly wont have to wait as long as Lverpool have had to wait, I'm sure of that.

They will never be the same Les. You have had your good times. Its ok having £millions to spend but you must get the right players. Even Fergie cocked up a few times.

Of course and I have said on here the era is over, it's been fantastic - won every trophy, broke many records and became the most successful English team of all time

    Only Liverpool come close.

Years and years of happiness forever to relive

It's time for Liverpool to take the mantle now...... in fact any northern team will do as long as those pesky southerners don't win the Prem

I don't believe it, bloody Chelsea and City - giving it to Liverpool on a plate!

Dedworth, I want a full report on my desk by the morning - it's simply not good enough

Parked a train - never mind a bus

Dull game but you may just do it, they may be top in Spain bit I would have rather got them than any other the other 2 Spanish teams.

I will do you a deal Dedworth, beat Liverpool at the weekend, City will then win the League, then I will grant you a Champions league Final victory.
