Storms over London. Special delivery from Spain
Brightening up here in N Wales, and should clear up after 10am. That means I'll have to cut the treesKeith Driscoll - Administrator

Beautiful weather here in the mountain forests of Compostela Valley.
Going down to the ocean tomorrow for beach picnic and fishing, then prepare to return to a normal life in Davao City.
Already planning my next visit back in mountains.
Got a lot to build my Nippa house so I can be more independent.
The weather is so much kinder here compared to the relentless intense heat of Davao City.

Can't beat the mountains in my opinion.
Excluding some of the larger cities and towns the air is fresher and cooler than it is in the lowlands.
The price of property near the sea in the Philippines, has risen sharply over the last 10 years and is now overpriced in my opinion. Run to the hills!
Good luck with your Nippa hut Peter.

Yes Jake, we're already planning to run to the hills
With the cooler fresher climate I'm able to do so much more.
We have an uncle who will design and build our 'Nippa house'
It'll basically be place to stay of our very own we we visit the area. Nothing special but will have a proper CR and shower room etc.
We only planned this trip for a weekend but already been here over a week.
We may stay on for a while still it's so nice and everyone is friendly.
The one thing I'm still wary about is this business of sharing and passing around the single cup of beer.
The weather today is a little overcast but very pleasant.
I'm thinking about another day at the deserted beach for picnic and fishing. Better get another case of San Mig

Back to our house in Davao City today.
There's no place like home
Weatherwise it's quite cool and some heavy showers this afternoon.
We went to a family reunion for the weekend a couple of weeks ago and stayed away on holiday visiting some great places mostly off-the-beaten-track.
More about my adventures later.

Everyday hot and sunny here
Just the way I like it but to be honest, my wife has said it's too hot for her in the summer months of April and May.
That's why we'll be be constructing a Nippa house in the mountains, but still within easy reach of the ocean for my fishing trips.
Luckily the intense heat of summer has now given way to the rainy season. Seems to rain every afternoon often into the late evening.
Not sure how long it's going to last but it's well needed here after long periods of no rain at all

Ended up having some rain yesterday afternoon, the garden loved it of course. Good start today, not a cloud in the sky but plenty of vapour trails, forecast for today locally plenty of sunshine with some cloud temperature rising to 18%, I'm happy with that!
