Yes, some people prefer to go to TLS because the French Embassy can only cater for a certain number of applications per day.

And, of course, the option to send your documents back via courier is good! It was actually a bit odd because they issued my visa on the same day but asked me to collect my passport the next day. .

This time, I paid VFS an £18.00 service charge coz I can't be bothered going to the German Embassy London (more convenient by post). Again, personal choice.
UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...

Hi all, my husband and I are going to Gran Canaria, Spain in October, and my Schengen Visa is valid until 01/15. My visa is still ok, right?

I applied for this visa in TLS. We went to Paris last March. That was the first time I went to another EU country.

Sorry, I am just making sure or being paranoid, coz when it comes to visa stuff I'm very nervous haha

You'll need to apply for a tourist visa as Ireland is not a member of the Schengen area.
    Shouldn't be a problem.

i read that people are going to ireland on the schengen visa route , getting work there either employed or self employed, taking with them their asian wife's using irland as their center of life, then on to uk
this led me to think ireland was part of eu, and that they use euro?
i have began to research what others are doing, but only scratching the surface at the moment, i found groups on facebook

Ireland is a full member of the EU and the Eurozone but just like the UK is not part of the Schengen area.
You cannot enter Ireland on a Schengen visa.

For tourism you need a tourist visit.

If you want to use Ireland for treaty rights and as a platform for immigration you need a Irish visa.
