Change of name
Hi folks any info/advice would be much appreciated
Florsel would like to change her maiden to her married name on her residency permit but we have no idea how to go about this any suggestions please? Steve& florsel

Her name on her BRP card and Passport must have a matching name. If she wants to change her name on the BRP card, she must change her name in the passport first.

Will she have to apply to re do her biometrics application again if so what is the cost if a biometrics application?

Yes, once her name in the passport is changed, she needs to apply for a new BRP card within 3 months. She will do all the biometrics process again. The cost of the application fee is £38 plus the fee in the post office (I think around £19). She can only do the BRP replacement application via post.
