My Typhoon Trip
We had a great time, flew out early November to visit the in-laws in the Cebu area. We knew there was a typhoon coming but they are quite common there.
Saturday morning at 5am it was so cold, like a really bad storm in the UK but we were lucky. we were about 50 miles from the centre of the typhoon and we thought it was not that bad, we were even on the beach all day sunday oblivious to the devastation and destruction only an hours drive away.
We had friends that lost their homes but people there are so resilient and get on with living.
Maybe i am crazy but you have to live a little so while we were over in Argao, my wife's home town, we end up buying this beauty.

yes, the beach is a private beach and only for the residents in the gated community that the house is situated in.
Here is the wife doing a house tour so you can see how close it is to the sea and Bohol.

Thank you all for your comments. I thought it was a bargain at the price we paid, 4.4 million and with the pound being so strong at the moment.

With all the amenities being supplied to the house underground and with the complex having a residents community socializing area with Aqua pool and food this was a bargain i could not turndown.
There is still a few lots and houses left in complex if anyone would like more information.
