Hopefully I manage to get our New Year dinner cooked on time for my wife's return at 10
I managed to get 12 different kinds of round fruit and displayed them in a big big bowl.....so should be in her good books despite only 2 bottle of champers left.
(I'm told those fruits are essential for a good new year......round having a meaning of coins/money)

Fruit was set up, photographed and uploaded this morning - I'm sat next to what looks like Sainsburys entire stock. The strawberries are quite nice

I bought as many reduced items as I possibly could.
I'm not at all embarrassed to buy to 1 orange, 1 Lemon, 1 Lime, 1 Persimmon & 1 Grapefruit etc.
Just wish I could buy 1 cherry, 1 blueberry, 1 cranberry and 1 strawberry etc.
Grapes and Plums etc don't seem to come as singles........cost a fortune...........I shall be igit igit for a week
Sorry for the Bisaya, I don't know the Tagalog and can't spell the English

the evening was just an amazing display of fireworks once dark all the way untill 1 am 2014, horns tooting motors dragging tin cans ect, and me tooting my motors horn at midnight too
, yes peter i learned last night about the round fruit when we went shopping for them
