I am looking for a better way to send money to the Philippines
Normally I use the post office to send moneygram to our family
But the rates are not great and they charge £9.50 when we send money. I have looked online at western union and world remit but they don't take maestro card they just seem to take MasterCard and visa . I have used paypal before but it takes 3 days before our family get the money and the rates are not as good as some others such as world remit.
So is there anyone that take maestro card and give good rates
Thanks

There's lots of remittance organisations and lots of routes.
Mostly you'll need to set up an account or register.
Just for something a little different have you considered a pre-paid card like Caxton?
These can be very useful and are easy to load up.
Take a card for yourself and a second for your partner. Top up the card here and the funds are immediately available for your partner to get via any ATM
Not for everyone, but I've found it very handy from time to time.
Worth thinking about

Hello! May I know what would be the best way to pay my fiancee visa? I know it's an online payment but my fiance will pay it. Usually he sends me money through Western Union but the transfer fees aren't that friendly and we are expecting that it will be so expensive if he's going to use it to transfer 851 GBP.
Any suggestions? Or is it possible to let him pay it online whilst he's in UK? Should I just give him my visa4UK logins?

I paid for my wife's visa online from the UK, and I was charged by my bank 27.00 GBP for paying visa4uk. So just let your husband pay for it online. The charge is for converting GBP to USD, because visa4uk only wants to get paid in USD.
