    A warm welcome. The Aberdonians are a friendly bunch. Have you started taking lessons in the local "Doric" dialect to communicate with the locals? A few helpful phrases..

    "Fit Like today?" - generic greeting roughly translated as "How are you?" - to be responded with "Fine. Fit like yoursel? "

    " I dunna ken" I don't know.

    "Av got one loony & one quiney" ( I have one son & one daughter. )

    "Foos your doos today?" Literally - "How are your pigeons" but has morphed into a general question on someones health or wellbeing.

    "far div ye bide?" - "Where do you live?

    hahaha mango once you have learned english you will then have extra lessons on the dialect of the locals good luck on that one too because i,m scottish and I can,t even understand them chufters lol
