Happy To Help (you learn English): Supermarket staff to wear badges so immigrants can practice
what a waste of £6m by this Tory gov why not send the money to the Phils to people who really need it

's nothing new where Asda's concerned. ... as far back as 1995/96, when I was employed as a CSA (Customer Service Assistant) at their Perth store, following early retiral from my "proper job" I wore a BIG lapel badge emblazoned (in bold lettering) with the words:
"Arthur
Happy To Help"
Which, of course, I was ... and still am ... albeit as a forum member - and seated in front of a computer screen - instead of the thankless task of standing for hours on end in the foyer of a bloody supermarket.

I'm telling you there's no difference between Labour and Tory.
If you wrote about this and didn't mention the party everyone would think this is an idea by some Labour council.
Instead fat boy pickles is responsible. Gives the bloater a chance to get in the supermarkets every day and fill his face

Does that mean I'll have to wait even longer at the checkout while people engage in inane conversation, do their banking and top up their phones ?
Half the staff at my local supermarket would appear to be asylum-seekers anyway.

They're just trained robots...as per company policy.
In reality, customer service is at the bottom of their list of priorities.
