    wedding plan in uk

    Hi guyz,

    Im back and i have some queries,
    My Fiance and I is planning to get married in UK through marriage visit visa, I just wanted to know what are the requirements i need to comply aside from birth certificate and CENOMAR? does it need to be authenticated in DFA? helps pls......

    Mel, are you asking about the requirements for application of the Marriage Visit Visa ?
    Or about the requirements for getting married in UK ?

    Sorry for any misunderstanding on my part

    I'm pretty sure you've reviewed the UKBA webapge already, but in case you haven't please take a look here:-

    Visitors for marriage or civil partnership

    Be sure to follow all the links. You'll find all the information you need to support the application.

    Your partner needs to make a visit to the place where the marriage will take place (usually Registry Office) and find out ALL the documents they need to see in order to proceed.
    It's normally not so tricky, but these days with so many 'sham marriages' taking place many places have some stricter requirements
