Rain in Manchester

Hi, I have just relocated from Dubai to the UK with my british partner. We're staying in Manchester now. I love the place but the weather sucks!!! It just never stopped raining!

It is probably raining due to the small reason that it is WINTER here

Also Manchester is in a bit of a dip between the Pennines & Snowdonia, so the crap doesn't rest their, especially when we have low winds.

For instance, a week last Monday, sunshine all day here, drove to Liverpool (sunny there as well), off in the distance over Manchester clouds! Got back home in Wales for clear skies and a good bit of astronomy with the scope.

Not so in Manchester, cloudy & raining all day, yet only 50 miles as the flea ridden pigeon flies.
