That's the main hurdle overcome. If your family are fine then everything else will be fine.
I've got three women at home now and they're as thick as thieves. I love the way they get on so well

In the UK, nothing. In the UAE, pretty horrendous attention, people staring, had people touching my hair legs and tattoos. In the Philippines, quite a lot of attention, mostly from school girls in mambukal.
Had one girl in a restaurant ask my wife's permission for a photograph with me, then got shy and didn't come out from the behind the kitchen. Strange one that.
I found it very annoying at first especially when we are trying to eat, but the Mrs has just convinced me to take it as a compliment although she gets pretty fiery when people stare at her while she's eating, lol.

Yep...take it as a compliment.
UAE ? I would expect nothing less from a stone-age culture.

In the UK, I don't think people stare at us..maybe I'm just not too bothered to notice it or maybe because my skin color is even whiter than Keith's.. haha
Now in the Philippines, we do get a lot of stares, mostly Keith. Not because we're together, but because they think he's rich and can afford everything..-=rayna.keith=-
