Is it the "elephant in the room" thing, but hasn't anyone in power noticed a certain pattern to these fake weddings?
There is also the inescapable fact of human attraction. There are well know trends as to when mixed race relationships happen, which sides both parties come from. Some combinations are very rare for various reasons.
In other words these should be more than easy to spot
