    Boris Johnson today promised he would look into accusations immigration officials are unfairly targeting shops and restaurants in London’s Chinatown.

    What a load of rubbish. A day of action I bet they were back open in time for Theatres turning out.
    To me it makes sense that UKBA should be carrying out initiatives in this area in view of the high density of immigrants. I just hope they are as enthusiastic in other areas of London like Brick Lane, Whitechapel and Southall.

    Sensible move for them to raid these places on spec. Chinese triad crime gangs are well known for trafficking and exploiting their own people.

    In saying that there appear to be more illegals employed in Indian/'Stani/Bangladeshi restaurants so they are the ones who should be relentlessly targeted

    Hmm ... 'Jack the Ripper" was certainly most effective in "clearing out" the Area I've emboldened - and also marked [appropriately] with an *asterisk - albeit the unfortunate ladies who "serviced" the Capital City's East End brothels back in the 1880s. !
