Well done the Mail - like Father like son.
Both the worst kind of hypocritical, wealthy, champagne socialists

Yet another gutter trawling attack by the Daily Mail. The sooner this rag goes the same way as the News of the World, the better.
But it seems like this story is having the opposite effect to that which the Daily Mail intended. I've never really rated Ed Miliband, but he's gone up in my estimation with his response to this. That also seems to be the general reaction in other sections of the media.

Damned gutter press! That's in the past! That was then ... this is now! Even David Cameron admitted he'd have reacted "the same as Ed did" had it been his late father being targeted by the media.
... wouldn't we all, in a similar situation?

Late or living I think it makes no difference all politicians have no shame in wheeling out the relatives, wives, children etc. It is fact that Millipedes Father was a classic champagne marxist living a comfortable life in his N London mansion (passed down to the current Millipdes via various inheritance tax dodging trust funds). I cant see anything wrong in the Mail quoting his disloyal verging on treasonous statements

Typical right wing Tory supporting gutter press
All they had on Miliband's father was that he had disagreed with the Falklands war
Well i never agreed with it either and i am still proud to be British
The fact that one forum member here applauds this kind of reporting speaks volumes
Socialism is certainly not about everyone being poor
Its a bit rich throwing mud around when you support a party fronted by privileged x Etonian toffs

Milipede repeatedly gushes about his love and respect for his dyed in the wool champagne Marxist/Socialist inheritance tax dodging father who held scant loyalty to this country. Ralph Milipede obviously did a great job shaping both of his sons moral outlook. Pass the sickbag

I think you'll find there's more than one forum member here who applaunds this kind of reporting ..if I had the inclination or even the time, I could find stuff on here what dirty tricks Labour's done over the decades.
The Mail are staying with it so, they must have something concrete on Red Ralphy .....I suggest a whole lot more than just disagreeing with the Falklands war.
As for the Conservatives being fronted by toffs...surely that can also be said for Labour

No I've not served in the armed forces but support them 100%
Miliband senior was conscripted into the forces like millions of his generation.
The Mail's Deputy Editor rightly justifies their stance on why he hated Britain as follows :
Ralph Miliband's views on British institutions from our schools to our royal family, to our military to our universities, to the Church to our great newspapers ... what he said was that he felt that all of those things were bad aspects, were unfortunate aspects of British life...
"If you take those things together and you combine them with an espousing of a Marxist ideology, that in our view represented someone who hated British values
Miliband junior is a £700 suit wearing, champagne socialist who wants to gag the press. He often cites his father as an inspiration for his desire to restore socialism so therefore his fathers marxist views are a legit topic for debate

The Daily Mail has done this country a great service by exposing the Miliband family for what they stand for
The Labour party just as well better start looking for another leader. ..next time they should do their homework on whom they actually put forward
I keep trying to give you rep Ded
