Steve, Charie, Vincent ... and now Lenii !!
A sister for Vincent
!
Steve and Charie’s beautiful new daughter was born at 10.04 am ( Philippines time ) on Sunday 28 July
.
Lenii weighed 2.8 kg ( about 6 lb 3 oz ), both she and Mum Charie are doing well.
Photos will follow but understandably Steve’s a little bit busy now....
It’s my pleasure to give this news to Forum members ( with Steve’s permission !!
) .

Hello everyone, and many thanks for your wishes for our new arrival. Thanks to Alan for making the thread.
Lenii arrived on the 28th as this is a special time in the Chinese calendar. We had booked in for the 1st August but I think Charie was getting anxious about the delivery and we opted for the earlier date.
I was present at the birth as the surgeon was also the owner of the hospital and when we expressed that I wanted to cut the umbilical she was happy to allow me into the operating theater. Lenii had slight apnea when she was born and so was put on oxygen in the nursery, she will be off the oxygen tomorrow and then after 24 hours of her own breathing will be allowed home.
Charie is of course very sore and stitched up but she is ok. It is funny/strange to actually look inside your wife's body just like on the tv in operations, but such a great moment to see the delivery of our daughter.
I will post up some more photos soon as I am just using Charie's neighbour's internet right now and I am going back to the hospital again.

(Of course brown eye colour is dominant over all others, so it is likely that your little girl's will be brown....but also beautiful ).
