Yes of course, one of my favourite movies at the time Rosie. Classic.
The Graduate was another.
Talking of which, my best friend has recently bought a beautiful 'Alfa Romeo Spider', in red, as driven in the movie by Dustin Hoffman.
Here is my friend's car...

Thank you gWaps, so nice of you to say so. Your childhood photo looks so sweet and your facial features haven't changed much at all, can still see you there! A member of the school camera club took the photo sitting on a desk ....... don't know what make/ model it was and don't want to sound "blonde" by saying it was a big black one! Being ignorant about cameras, I'm interested to hear how you know it is an SLR camera?
Thank you also for the rep, it's very much appreciated

Thanks Rosie I wasn't expecting that
It's good to sound 'blonde' every now and then Rosie. .A definite icebreaker
It's the focusing ..in your example, your background is out of focus while you are in. ..normally instants put everything in focus. .it's a compromise. .nowadays SLR's are as simply to use as the instamatics of yesteryear.

Why is it whenever I see a black and white picture of someone from Yorkshire taken in the 70's I always think the same thing

2/3 years old with my mum (we used to live in Laguna with my grandparents that time..that LP player at the left of the photo and the old TV (the one with shutters/doors) at the back of us still exist in our house there up to now. I think I was in high school when both stopped working )
4/5 years old with my elder sis (I'm the one on the right)
10 years old with my younger sis (I'm the one on the right)

I've tried to send you some rep too Rayna, but not allowed yet (must have pressed your button too recently).
Anyway, thanks to this thread, I've decided to grow my hair again.

Thanks all...
Well it's nice bringing back old memories from time to time. I wanted to post Keith's old photos but he'll kill me before I can do it (plus all of it are at her mum's)! I had a good laugh at it though!-=rayna.keith=-
