It's impossible for her to get a carer job in the UK, unless she's already here. She would have a hard time getting a working visa. Search through the forum regarding working visa for nurses/carers and also go to UKBA website and read on the process of getting a working visa.

I would also say her chances are almost zero.
Here is the UKBA webpage for Working in the UK
It's all explained in the publication called - Tier 2 of the Points Based System – Policy Guidance.
It goes hand-in-hand with work listed on the Tier 2 Shortage Occupation List
As you should know:-
The job should be a skilled job that cannot be filled by a settled worker.
Any Applicant must score a minimum 70 points on the PBS
The job must be rated at a certain minimum qualification level.
The job must be paid at a certain minimum salary level
There is an annual limit on the number of Certificates of Sponsorship available under Tier 2 (General)
Both you and your friend are strongly advised to review the above links.
You'll find all the answers you and your friend need.
Quite an eye-opener.

Have a look at this from Sept last year

I thought there was an angle once where nurses could get in as student carers and then do some sort of conversion course. Might be worth having a word with some residential homes in your area.
