A bogus bride and groom who planned to stage a sham wedding in Harrow have both been jailed for 12 months.

More needs to be done in the establishment of eligibility for marriage. imo

Wouldn't argue about that, but would prefer to see a prevention strategy. Less cost.

Maybe include sentences and seizures for those who agree to perform the marriage without doing proper checks.

Its cases like this that make the genuine people suffer ,its good they have been locked up and I hope the pair of them is kicked out when they serve their sentance
