    Thumbs up hello

After lurking for a long time, I finally decided to post here.
I got some helpful tips for my visit visa application.
I'm flying to Solihull next month.
I'm wondering, Do I need to get vaccinated?
Does anyone here got vaccinated before flying to UK?

    Thanks.
    Liezl

No vaccination required Liezl. But I think you just need a TB test. Good luck for your future and a very warm welcome to the Forum

Not sure if there is a vaccination against expensive living.

I don't think you need anything to come here to visit.

Welcome to the forum nice to see you posting now.

Hello Liezl, welcome to the forum

I'm sure you'll enjoy your UK visit.
Rest assured you don't need any vaccinations and you are not required to undertake TB screening.
Any you do take will be solely by your choice.

I'm sure it would be fun and memorable. I'm really excited, I wish I could make time run faster. I have a long list of places to visit. I'm sure I won't run out of things to do for my four month stay.

    Thanks everyone for welcoming me

is it just me or is something not right here?

But boyfriend argues that I need jabs i.e flu vaccine and Tb booster.
    I corrected the spelling

Since when does a visitor need a flu vaccine or TB booster to come to the UK? Yes a TB test I can understand.
Maybe it's just me being over cautious but how long have you known your bf?
    Is he a British citizen?

Apologies if my comment offends but some very concerning issues here

hi Liezl ,welcome to the forum,

i doubt even if you had a flu jab before coming to uk, that it would be any use, our flu viruses are probably different,

how long you known your boyfriend? enough to know he is genuine?

    it's Tetanus diphtheria (Td)

We've known each other for almost a year. He visited in the Philippines last Christmas and met my family and now it's my turn to meet his and experience UK life before moving to the next step.

    I won't miss Shakespeare's place
Warwick castle. (I wish I'll have my wedding there )
    cotswold and bath
    And more castles

Herefordshire isn't too far away & is lovely in May when the apple blossom is out - and try a glass or two of cider. Not to forget the delights closer to home , such as the Bullring & Spaghetti Junction!

Have a great time here - I'm sure it will be a huge culture change from the Phils but I hope you like the UK.

If you're going to London, I recommend visiting Hampton Court Palace in west of London-you can easily spend a whole day there!: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...,d.d2k&cad=rja
