Tb test experience
im done with my tb test last wednesday.
first thing you need to do is to call them for appointment, need patient because it takes time to pick up the phone, not sure why.mine it took 15 mins before they picked up the phone..
once you get there the security guard will give you a number, just keep it and wait your no.to be called.
dont forget to bring your passport and one valid id.
with my experienced it took 4 and half hours to finished, from verification, take picture, xray oh by the way the waiting time is too long, and then you need to go back to 15thf after, to wait again your result.good thing mine is normal.and you can have your certificate on the same day.just check your cert.before you leave coz in your cert it should on it your husband/fiancee adress in uk,my friend gladz also a member here having a problem about it coz she didnt noticed that her husband adress in uk not on her cert.so she keep trying to ring up iom..
hope this one helps to those are about to take the tb test.

Great news that everything was normal
As I've said already, it's unlikely someone in good general health, who has had BCG vaccination ( just once ) will have active TB. It's good to be reassured, even if it cost you in time and money .

For those who will have their tb test in the near future,be prepared to wait for long hours.I waited for 3 hours before they called me for my chest x-ray and the x-ray itself took only 5 seconds.
It would be a lot quicker if the health centre is equipped with their own x-ray machines as they will send you to another clinic (10th flr) they tied up with, and that clinic is loaded with people undergoing tests as well (mostly seafarer's),so you end up in a long queue.
I just hope they will improve their services.

Thanks for posting those experiences. I'm sure that will be most helpful for others.
Let's hope the process improves.
Anyway the important is that you have a good outcome

Agreed Stevie C. ONE processing centre with ONE x-ray machine...wonder how they got that contract ..I waited with there with my wife for 4 hours before being told that the machine was not working and we would have to come back the following day. Which we did, but of course it was still not working. So they shipped everyone off by van to a hospital somewhere and 5 boring hours later they were back. To their credit though, they did give us the certificate there and then. Just as well since we were flying to Bohol the next morning
