Boracay or palawan?

We are planning for holiday in May but we are confuse if which is best place for holiday. Any idea?

Is it a decision between Boracay and Palawan????

Boracay is quite specific. There's a big variety of places in and around Palawan.

Plenty of other places too.

I love both places, but for different reasons.

Boracay is a great place for partying, relaxing, enjoying the beach, etc. You can also do some watersports, but the diving and snorkelling isn't the best. Boracay is very easy to reach, but there are lots of other tourists.

There's lots of different areas to visit within Palawan. I've only ever been to El Nido and it's one of the most amazing places I've ever been. It's relatively difficult to get there, but is well worth the effort. The scenery is breath taking and the snorkelling and island hopping are first class.

To recommend one or the other, I'd need to know a bit more about the type of holiday you're looking for.

I'd probably rather Boracay over Palawan for a short break with the wife. Yes Boracay is more tourist heavy,but compared to other Asian destinations it is still pretty quiet. Plus there are more options for eating and drinking. Palawan is very quiet but extremely lovely. I will be in Bohol next week then Boracay the week after. I would like a trip to Palawan but my wife who is Filipina says she finds it boring. So go with Boracay or even Alona beach Bohol

Not been away from Luzon myself yet, but Palawan is somewhere we are planning on going at somepoint. Boracay looks nice, but too small for my liking, but we may visit there at somepoint as I've heard the only Nando's in the Philippines is on the island :P

I've never been to Palawan but if it was between Boracay and Panglao Island I would say that Boracay is the nicer island overall.

Panglao Island/Bohol is more friendlier though and has more unique things to do such as visiting Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary etc.

As for beaches, I like White Beach, and Alona Beach & Dumuluan Beach on Panglao. All very nice but Puka Beach on Boracay is my favourite.

Not to keen on the area around D'Mall and Station 2 but overall Boracay is just a little more sexy.

For me Palawan is better than Boracay. There's a lot of tourist in Boracay. Palawan is really nice. You can see the Underground river and then go to El Nido. El Nido is the best. Snorkeling is fun and island hopping and lovely beaches too.

I love Bohol too. Dumaluan beach is really lovely and get the suite. Amazing view and you can see other places like Chocolate hills and caves. You should visit Bee Farm the food is super yummy.
