I lived in Peterborough from the mid sixties until 1983 it was an amazing place, Peterborough Development Association built hundreds of new houses for the London overspill that consisted of mainly unmarried mothers, the nightlife was great and the only foreigners living there at that time were Italians that worked in the brickworks. I must mention the nightlife was fantastic!
