Life in the UK Test Passed!

My Biometrics Resident Permit will expire this coming September but have took the test earlier since the test will be more tougher this coming March 15, fyi, I suggest to those who haven't taken the test yet its time for u to do it now, I studied the 2nd book edition of Life in the UK - A Journey to Citizenship (its a big blue one) and thanks to God, I passed the test. My hard work and studies really worth it! Now, next step is to apply for my ILR. Wish me luck folks! :-)

Congrats Faye! Just to clarify, the new test would be on 25 March and not 15 March. I'm booked on 12 March for the Life in the UK test, coz like you, I prefer the current test as they said the new test would be difficult (not sure how difficult though) and I don't want to waste my books and pay for new ones. I'm just hoping I could pass the test right away!

Thank u! How much does it cost for the premium service though? I am thinking to apply on that way since I am pregnant and will have the baby on May, nobody wants too much stress!

Premium Service for ILR at PEO is currently £1377 (valid up to April 2013)
The biggest issue is actually securing that PEO appointment slot.

Faye ... it's £1,377 (currently). Although, this is likely to increase in April - as it has done, consistently, in past years. See also, my reply to this [same] question of yours on the thread entitled:

'Indefinite Leave to Remain Approved (PEO Cardiff)' - #22 refers.

Whichever method you ultimately decide upon, I wish you all the very best with your eventual application.

Ah ... ... I've just noticed our respective responses to Faye's query have crossed, Peter. Great minds, eh?

Thanks Terpe! I only knew about booking an appointment 28 days before the current visa expires, am I right? Will it not be hard to get a booking slot?
