Scots universities criticise UK immigration laws
well what do they expect the gov to do when they've done little to stop people taking the
if they are caught working when they shouldn't be, the gov should not only fine the employer but also the uni that they should have been attending
Universities Scotland said the UK Border Agency’s decision to end its post-study work route for international students along with Westminster’s “hard-line rhetoric” had led to a 25.8 per cent drop in Indian students, a 24.9 per cent drop in Pakistani students and a 14.1 per cent drop in the number of Nigerian students in 2011/12.

Well if they hurry up and vote for independence we can put the wall back up, enforce passport controls and Scotland can then control their own visas and immigration

Contradicts somewhat with this which refers to applications being up to UK universities - sounds like most of the wetbacks were heading north of the border
