Fergie Time
Well done Totnum good to see the red nosed git get a dose of his own medicine - shame it wasn't 5 minutes Spurs would have won

I hope the FA ban him for his ongoing disgraceful slurs on the officials

We should have had a clear penalty too
To be honest a draw was fair result and I'm happy with that and they hold the honour of the only decent team to beat us in the league this season

In all fairness les man u were very lucky to come away with a draw 15 to 4 shots on target for spurs & something like 85% to 15% possession to spurs second half was all one way traffic it it weren't for de gea it would if been a spurs win

You can't really say that as I would counter and say if it wasn't for the disallowed penalty we would probably have gone on to win, good to see De-Gea in a better light-the lads coming on

From last season
. De Gea finished the season with the best saves-to-shots ratio in the Premier League (77.9%).

He may well of done les but I bet he came last in catching crosses & corners....he was at fault for the spurs goal when it comes to crosses he is a liability he always punches instead of catching to me that tells me he has no confidence in coming for crosses

Yes his command of the box is not great but he is a shot stopper sometimes you can't be both.
He needs to put some weight on and remember he is only 22 playing for the biggest club in the premiership I really do think he will mature and become a great keeper

Time will tell les if he is given that time at Man U we will wait & see
Les if he wants to be classed as word class he needs to be a great all round keeper not just a shot stopper ie schmiechael Clemence, Jennings, Shilton were all great round keepers you cannot be in the same class being a one trick pony

Heard a rumour not so long back that Begovic of Stoke will replace De Gea.

Point taken les but I was pointing out that just being a shotstopper will not be enough for fergie & I can't honestly see him being given the time to turn in to a great keeper at utd
There is talk that ferguson wants to sign pepe reina

pepe reina good keeper I must admit-let's see if united win Title that may go some way to making his mind up-I would have thought Ferguson was happy now than in the early days with De Gea.
I thought he was poor at first but he is certainly improving and may never be world class but may be good enough.
Very few world class keepers have played for united only schmiechael achived that honour of being best keeper in the world when he was with us.
