Barack Obama mounted the biggest challenge in two decades to America's deeply ingrained gun culture on Wednesday, announcing a sweeping set of proposals to ban automatic weapons, limit magazines to 10 bullets, introduce universal background checks for all firearms buyers and increase scrutiny of mental health patients.

Automatic weapons covers a broad spectrum,I expected the lower capacity magazines as did the vast majority of stateside gun owners,thats why certain large-capacity mags are selling like hot-cakes,its only a gun-control "plan",too little too late,and its not been implemented nor set in stone yet,then theres grandfather rights IE guns bought before the ban,and like I said "Automatic"
is that fully-auto,semi-auto?

About time too. I hope that Obama can get the laws through.
What amazes me is the amount of nut-case republicans that will oppose this!
