Harlene has been asking me since she arrived end of November to find a shop she can buy Asian/Filipino foods from. The one in Feltham that is mentioned in this thread is long gone unfortunately, we hunted high and low for it, before phoning and the number is disconnected.

So we were sitting here today and she says " why don't we look in the Asian shop in Feltham High street"

    I said what Asian shop?

"you know, the one opposite Tesco"

Erm, never seen it, I am always concentrating on the right turn into Tesco and the oncoming traffic, You sure there is one?

"Yes, I see it everytime we go to Tesco"

So as per Doctors instructions for Harlene and the soon to be born Baby, we decided to walk to it so Harlene could get her 20 minutes exercise in for the day.

Sure enough there it was, it is actually a Vietnamese/Oriental food store, looks very much like a back street Filipino store inside though.

Harelne's face lit up when she saw they stocked quite a few of her favorite foods from home. (mine drained at the thought of another large shopping bill ) But seeing we only just went shopping yesterday She was sensible and I only had to spend £12 today.

But at least now we have found a shop we can walk to in 20 minutes and they sell quite a few Filipino products.

The address incase anyone is local to Feltham is

    Huong Viet
    Cavendish Terrace
    2 High Street Town Center
    Feltham
    TW13 4HE

I've seen that shop Slip other side of the road not far from Aldi. With another mouth soon to feed you need to kick Tesco into touch and save a fortune at Aldi
