Congratulations to your Sister Jane!
I wish somebody here can help me too,..
I am currently doing some readings regarding Family Visit Visa,.and having read some posts here has helped me understand it. My husband would like to have my parents here for a visit since we might not be able to visit them next year considering that I and my 2 dependant children will still need to apply for ILR in May. My husband is just quite confused on whether we will just have the Family Visit or the General Visit route as I still don't have a permanent residency status. We are fully capable of accommodating them here, and both of my parents are working in government institutions and could prove that they will return to the Philippines after the visit. Will it be better for us to make them apply for Family Visit or should we just focus on General Visit Visa?

Hi Jane, Tish here
I just want to say congratulations on obtaining a family visit visa for your sister
I too would like my sister to visit us here for the festive season but she doesn't want to come during winter as she doesn't like the cold , so I'll apply for her to come hopefully in January instead
Merry Christmas to you all BTW
