Yes, I've been there a few times visiting my fiancee when she lived there. I know Beirut well

She was based up in the mountains as well, but the mountains are a big area. Further from Beirut though - it was nearer Tripoli.

Hope everything is good at your end. As you'll know, the pinoys in Lebanon have been hoping to be made "official", but the government still has the embargo on travelling there to work. Last I heard, people were nervous because of the political situation. I met a load of her friends the last time I visited, I do worry about them.

Hi again!tripoli is very far where i am now.yeah filipinos r not allowed to come here yet because of the political problem here,its scary esp.those who r base in beirut.but like me who came legal i dont have any problem of going back and coming back if i want to.i just went back to the philippines last dec.after 5 yrs and half of staying here now i've been here 4 almost 7 yrs now. it was my 1st vacation.is it possible to find some1 here?thanks iani.

Well it will be better for you - being able to go back. I met some Filipinas there who missed their family so much, but going back it would be a one way trip. Other places to work of course, but.......anyway.

Possible to meet someone on here? Do you mean for a potential partner? Well this isn't really the best site for dating, it's more a discussion forum, and most men on here already have wives or girlfriends.

This sort of question always worries me, simply because there are too many people out there who would take advantage to cheat someone out of cash or worse.
Someone thinks she is chatting to a nice man from the uk, but he turns out to be from a country she would never contemplate, and whose men are notorious for being ptng. I'm sure you've also worked out Lebanon is not a place to find a respectful partner (Heard many stories)

Not sure what to suggest :( Dating sites are full of sharks.....on both sides!

Hi iani!i do agree bt having relationship here but sometimes depends on how they handle and behave.4 almost 7yrs i dated only 1 lebanese man but id didnt work out becos his family thinks i want his money only but to be honest i never ask him and he knows that.my problem is that he couldnt fight for me to his family.

Bout going back to the philippines,yeah maybe this coming june or oct.after the contract cos im having problems here also bt my employer cos they r divorced and i am always in the middle esp.i found out recently that my man's employer has a feeling for me for a very long time.but i told him i respect him as my employer only not more than that but seems like he wont stop.he ask me bt marriage and bt school if i can continue my degree here but i refuse everything coz i dont want to hurt somebody's feeling esp.my womans employer coz now im living with his ex wife and their 2 kids.
Eventhough my woman's employer thought that i was dating her ex husband but i never did,for me i dont want to hurt her feeling and i dont want to loose the trust that she has becos she treats me very nice and she treats me like her sister too.
I think the oly way to get out of this prolem is for me to go back to the philippines.
Sorry for that long story and thanks for ur advice bt meeting some1.
